The Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex is one of most famous circuits in the UK.
Originally opened in 1948, the circuit saw action from many of legendary drivers such as Stirling Moss and Graham Hill, until it closed in 1966 for several decades . In 1998 the Earl of March launched the Goodwood Revival, which in the subsequent years has established itself as the world's most popular historic motor race meeting. The Revival, along with the Festival of Speed held at Goodwood House, has made Goodwood a mecca for anyone interested in cars and motoring. The Greenpower Finals offer a very special chance for young people to race around this legendary circuit. Visitors will find the circuit looking just as it did in the 1950s and 60s, and set in glorious countryside in the South Downs National Park. The Earl of March is one of two Patrons of Greenpower. Greenpower are very grateful to be able to hold the National Finals at the Goodwood Circuit. |
Goodwood is located near Chichester, just south of the South Downs, 60 miles south of London.
